How do I add a question?
Open the quiz sheet and click the quiz's tab at the bottom. Type the new question in the next empty row of column A. Leave column B empty.
How do I make a new quiz?
In the sheet, right-click the TEMPLATE tab and choose Duplicate. Rename the copy, then replace the sample questions with your own. The tab name becomes the quiz name.
I added a question but I don't see it.
Go back to the list of quizzes by clicking "Quizzes" at the top, or refresh the page. The app reads the sheet each time it loads.
A quiz is missing from the list.
Tabs named TEMPLATE, and tabs whose name starts with an underscore (like _Draft), are hidden on purpose. Rename the tab if you want it to show up.
Can I hide a quiz while I'm still working on it?
Yes. Put an underscore at the start of the tab name, like _Movie Night. Remove the underscore when it's ready.
How do I bring a question back?
Open the sheet, find the question and clear the cell next to it in column B. To bring back every question, press Reset quiz in the app instead.
What happens when every question has been used?
The Randomize button switches off and the app tells you all questions are used. Press Reset quiz to start again.
Do we see the same used questions?
Yes. Used questions are saved in the sheet, so it doesn't matter which device or person pressed Randomize.
Can I rename a quiz?
Yes. Just rename its tab in the sheet. The used questions stay marked.
Can I add notes next to my questions?
Yes, as long as they are in column C or further right. Columns A and B are used by the app.
It's asking for the password again.
You stay signed in for 30 days on each device. If you use a new device or clear your browser data, you'll need to enter the password again.
